The system

The system includes
- a titanium needle with skull screw,
- two stylets made of medical steel
- and a special screwdriver for secure fixation.
This combination not only ensures maximum stability and easy handling, but also significantly reduces the risk of infection - a decisive advantage when performing a ventriculostomy.

The titanium skull screw with self-tapping thread is screwed into the skull using a special screwdriver. The self-tapping thread guarantees a stable fixation of the screw.
The needle has a diameter of only 0.8 mm and has a Luer lock connection as well as 4 markings at 1 cm intervals. Drainage takes place via 30 openings with a diameter of 0.55 mm in a range of 18 mm from the tip of the needle
